multipath.conf Equallogic
Hello guys,
Could you point me to a doc where I can get the reccomended settings for multipathing to work as good as possible with an Equallogic array PS 6010 XV ? The firmware 5.0.2 release notes points to a doc I cannot seem to find "iSCSI Initiator and Operating Systems Considerations" ..... can any of you point me to it ? I'm particularly interested in how should I set queue_if_no_path , rr_min_io and failback .
thank you very much

That document is with the 5.0.2 firmware download page. However, that does not cover configuring MPIO with Linux. I've attached a document which covers how to do that with RHEL v5.x.

Re: queue_if_no_path must be disabled. Otherwise when you pull a cable, all I/O will be paused while it figures out what paths to resume on. Some versions of RH had a bug where that process would never finish or takes minutes to complete. This is covered in more detail in the PDF I attached.
