BIOS-Update A09 nicht möglich: AFUWINx64 funktioniert nicht
Hallo zusammen,
ich habe Probleme, meinen Desktop (Inspiron 3847) auf die neue BIOS-Version zu bekommen.
Sobald ich die Datei Inspiron_3647_3847_A09.exe starte, bricht AFUWinx64 mit der Fehlermeldung 0x80000000000000 (EventID 1000) ab. Das Programm meldet dann unrichtig, daß das Update erfolgreich eingespielt worden wäre.
Mir ist nicht klar, was genau das Problem verursacht. Für jeden Tipp bin ich sehr dankbar!

Hi,
ich empfehle dir es erneut herunter zu laden und es nochmal zu testen.
Sollte es dann weiterhin nicht funktionieren kannst du es auch aus dem BIOS heraus installieren.
Run the BIOS update utility from DOS environment if Legacy Boot Mode(Non-Windows users)
NOTE: You will need to provide a bootable DOS USB key. This executable file does not create the DOS system files.
1. Copy the downloaded file to a bootable DOS USB key.
2. Power on the system, then Press F12 key and Select USB Storage Drive and Boot to DOS prompt.
3. Run the file by typing copied file name where the executable is located.
4. After BIOS update finished, system will auto reboot to take effect.

2. Power on the system, then go to BIOS Setup by pressing F2 and go to Boot > Boot Mode option.
3. Change UEFI to Legacy Boot Mode.
4. Go to Exit > Save Changes and restart system.
5. Press F12, then Select USB Storage Drive and Boot to DOS prompt.
6. Run the file by typing copied file name where the executable is located.
7. After BIOS update finished, system will auto reboot to take effect.
7. Go to BIOS Setup by pressing F2 key.
8. Change the Legacy to UEFI from F2 > Boot > Boot Mode.
9. Go to Exit > Save Changes and restart system to go back original UEFI Boot Mode.
