Hello,

I've been trying to do repair on my Inspiron 15 laptop, and admittedly this is the first time I'm trying to open a laptop hardware.

I got all the screws out but now the back cover is being very stubborn.

The manual says that I only have to pry off the top left corner between the hinge and optical drive using a plastic scribe. However, I now have both corners on either side of the hinge popped off, and the back cover still does not budge.

It seems that the lower two corners on either side of the keyboard are keeping it stuck on. It's very difficult to find any kind of leverage to pry it off using the scribe, and even when I do get some leverage it seems close to breaking the scribe without moving the cover.

Any suggestions? Nathan
