I wanted to install windows 11 but this required the TPM enabled in My Laptop. When I run this command "tpm.msc" it showing "Compatible TPM cannot found on this computer. Verify that this computer has a 1.2 TPM or later and it is turned on in the BIOS"
I am using
Model: Dell Inspiron 15 5559
Processor:Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.40 GHz
Compatible TPM if it has one on this model will Be Intel® Platform Trust Technology (Intel® PTT)
Hardware based TPM is not an option on consumer laptops.
This means you will NOT FIND anything that says TPM in Bios.
Go into bios and check for INTEL PTT
IntelPTT is basically the BIOS/CPU alternative to a the hardware based TPM. IntelPTT works on pretty much every processor/chipset since 4th Gen Core (Haswell) processors were introduced and it even supports Bit locker
Tap the F2 key when the Dell logo appears to enter the BIOS
Expand the "Security" section, click "PTT Security", and deselect Intel Platform Trust Technology NOTE: If PTT is greyed out as well, re-enable PTT by disabling Intel Trusted Execution under Virtualization Support.
