Hi, Guys a friend of mine brought a Dell Latitude E6420 to me for some troubleshooting and it's slow as **bleep** second I want to install fresh windows(7) on it but it wasn't booting via USB or CD/DVD I had two windows 7 iso file I created bootable USB with Rufus and windows USB tool but it didn't work those files worked well on my pc when I install one of them in my pc that windows is still working well but still I downloaded a new iso but still no luck then I bought a Windows 7 DVD at first it didn't boot via CD Rom as well but later I did since then it's almost been 1 hour and it's still at "Windows is loading files..." any suggestions what's the issue.
Tried every possible trick, but not much improvement. Diagnostics of hardware showed no faults except the charger.
Finally bought a new off-brand charger, discarding the original Dell charger.
Laptop is running fast again!
The processor speed was being reduced by Intel because the Dell Charger was not working properly. With the off-brand replacement charger, processor speed is 3 times higher.

Run an extended system diagnostic - particularly on the hard drive and RAM.
F12 at powerup.
Does the system correctly identify its AC adapter (F2 at powerup to check) or does it show "unknown"?
