A long while back the screen on my Latitude E-6420 with Windows 7 Pro started flickering. I tried screen resolution, refresh, and actions mentioned on the net, nothing worked. So I did what any computer illiterate would do.....I stuck it it the corner and bought another computer. Now that one is toast. Had to go back to "My Friend Flicker." Yesterday the screen stopped flickering for a very short while, then started flickering again. This morning it stopped flickering for about a minute or two, then resumed flickering. This afternoon when booted up, no Flicker for about 30 minutes, then Flicker returned. Unit was not being moved or shaken anytime when flickering started or stopped. Any enlightenment will be greatly appreciated.
