Overheating G3 3579
I have a Dell G3 3579 (comes with a graphic card GTX 1050 Ti). I have always used with without any problems. However, lately, I have noticed that the laptop is getting extremely hot every time I use the graphic card (that is, games, videos, etc.). I am pretty sure that, in the past, the laptop would turn on a louder fan when overheating, and the temperature would normalize quickly. This is not happening anymore.
I have installed some diagnostic software like HWMonitor and MSIAfterburner and the temperature gets over 200 degrees! I would like to test the fans but MSI afterburner has in grey the option "fan speed" and I couldn't find any option anywhere to test my gans.
I have turned off the Power Boost according to some recommendations here in the Dell support but at no avail.
Does anyone have any idea on how to test the fans to confirm if this is indeed the problem?
