Remove DBUtil_2_3.Sys

 

Hello,

I am using the DBUtilRemovalTool.exe to remove the DBUtil_2_3.Sys. But it still the file exist after restart of the laptop.

I can able to delete manually from C:\Users\Juliana\AppData\Local\Temp\.

But below message appears when try to delete the DBUtil_2_3.Sys from C:\Windows\Temp

Please advise what is to be performed to delete the DBUtil_2_3.Sys from all the locations?

Also how this file can be removed from laptops using SCCM

    Is there any Dell Utility to remove this or any suggestion from Dell

    Delete this regkey:  Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DBUtil_2_3

    Then reboot and delete this file: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\DBUtil_2_3.Sys

    You will need to perform both tasks as admin.
