I have just installed Ubuntu v7.04 on my Latitude X1. I want to download the correct screen-driver and install it. My question is: 1.0 I can't choose Ubuntu in the "operating system" menu under the download-driver-section. What to choose then? 2.0 My desktop-resolution is default 1024*768 but the latitude x1 has a wide-screen monitor. But i can't choose any other than the 1024*768 resolution when i go to the desktop-resolution-menu. How do i change that?? 3.0 I have just been told that there is GNOME and KDE desktop environments. Can i switch between those? And How?
