What card did you put in? The door acts as a wind tunnel to move the air by the card.

Msi gtx 760 twin frozr gaming. 

Temps haven't seemed to spike without it..so I guess it isn't a crucial piece of the case's overall heat management. 

I was just curious. My 770 ACX fit in with not problems. Have you noticed your case temps being higher with the fans blowing into the case? Mine went up a bit about 2-3c. Temps on the card under load are about 70c.

what manufacturer is your 770? I'll check, gpu temp was fine, 69 degrees under load. I've heard of others not having any issue with the non-reference cooling.

EVGA, got it back in July. Just saw you have the 4gb, nice to have the extra ram. Mine is only 2gb. I wonder if your is slightly taller because of the extra memory.......  

I wondered that also, most reviews have my card taking an 8 pin & 6pin connector (my version takes 2x8s) so there are diferences between the 2gb and 4gb. I ran BF3 last night on ultra for several hours and the case temp never went above 30 degrees C. The GPU again never went above 69 degrees C. I also had it overclocked using the MSI gaming app (OC mode) which bumped it up to just shy of 1200mhz and memory 3000. So it seems the Aurora case is better at managing the heat (from this card at least) than I had originally thought. I would imagine yours being similar since I've read good things about the EVGA cooling.

Those are nice temps and being able to easily overclock is nice. I put an additional Corsair 120mm on the inside of the radiator for a push/pull config, brought my CPU temps down and also dropped the case temps a bit, but not much. My case temps are around 27-28 but the room temp varied during the summer. I am still waiting for DELL to allow us control over the CPU fan. That alone would move more air through the case.

Little over a month till BF4 is out so I will see how the card does with more demanding graphics.

Another quick update. I was playing with MSI afterburner a bit more and got the card running stable at 1280 mhz, memory 3800. Under load for an hour the case hit 31 degrees and the gpu was stable at 78 degrees! I've checked around and it seems that's an OK temp for gaming - anyone other thoughts?
