Hi,

We have a Dimension 2350 and a 2400. We would like to retire the 2350 and move that hard drive (and its contents) to the 2400.

If we just swap the 2350 hard drive to the 2400, what problems can we expect to encounter?

I know drivers would be the primary concern. Here is what I have found out:

1.) They have the same chipset driver.

2.) They have the same modem (not that we use it anyway...), so I assuming driver would be same....

3.) Same network driver

4.) Appear to have the same audio driver (ADI 198x)

5.) Same video driver (integrated Intel)

So, is there a reason I simply can't pull the drive out of the 2350 and drop it into the 2400 for a pretty direct drop?

I understand something may show up that I am not thinking about. If you can thik of any possible pitfalls, PLEASE let me know....
