I've had my 4600 for about 2 months now and have had the crunching noise coming from the harddrive.  Everyone one i've talked to said this is normal.  I just found out that if you go into bios and change the status of the harddrive from bypass to quiet this will solve the problem.  Is this accurate?  Does this hurt anything?  Any response would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks
