G33M03 is not a dell model or part number.  FM586 is the Dell Part Number.

The Issue is more than Bios.

The Heatsink for Hotter CPUS is different.

The Power Supply is 305W or 350W depending on which CPU is used.

 

The M03 version of the Inspiron Tower has limits based on the power supply.

The higher end units have a 350W power supply not a 305W unit.

The Heatsink for High end cpus is  Dell P/N K078D
