I just received and installed my first Dell, a 410, yesterday. I'm already finding support hard to get to. I was told by dell support today, after typing in my Service Tag, that I did not buy my Dell in the U.S.!!!

I had trouble finding and deleting the dell search assistant. Why would anyone want that?

Did I make a mistake choosing Dell? What else am I in for?
At least the hardware is what I ordered and seems to be OK so far.
