dimension 8400 RAM question
i am considering buying the dimension 8400, but first i have a question about the ram
in the specs, is says it can hold up to 4 gb of ram, but then in the foot note it says:
"
3 The total amount of usable memory available will be less than 4 GB, depending on the actual system configuration."
what does this mean? if i only buy it with 512 can it still be upgraded to 4 gb? i need to know because im going to need to upgrade to this amount of ram in the future, just dont have enough money for it right now.
