I have a XPS Gen 4 and I have booting problems, Window's XP doesn't run on my computer, it says that I need to reinstall file name windowroot\system32\hal.dll. And I don't know what that means? I tryed calling Dell but everytime I call there always someone I can't understand or somebody doesn't know what there doing and thay have to read off the computer screen to tell them what to do, it's very ignoring when thay do that. And when I call the 1-800-624-9896 the lady on the line was trying to sell me something rather helping me with my computer. Dell customer service is bad and thay really need to change. This is why it's one of the main reason that I want to get rid of my XPS. It's not worth the headache. So am asking everyone that has a XPS knows what's this means windowroot \system32\hal.dll. and how do I install it, also did anyone get a window hard disk with there computer, all I have is all CD's and it's asking me to put in a Disk in drive A which is a 3.5 disk drive. Does anyone have this disk? Dell says that being a XPS owner will get you better service GUESS NOT? So I need you guys help?
