Sometimes, often when I've just turned my computer on, my screen blinks like it is losing power. It never completely blanks out, but comes right back. Sometimes it does this 2 or 3 times in a row. It also does it after I've had the computer on for a while; not just when I turn it on.

I tried plugging it into a different outlet on my surge protector, but it still occurs. Nothing else plugged into the surge protector has a power problem. The cables seem to be secure on the back of the monitor and going into the computer.
