On my Dell 8200 I use two email services with Windows XP Home Edition being Outlook Express 6 and a DellNet/MSN Web based email that gets it’s settings from Hotmail. The user interface does not provide a way to remove or to uninstall Windows Messenger. I want to disable Messenger 4.6 but cannot without editing the registry which I do not want to do. There is a “RunDll32” around that will easily remove it but will it be damaging to my current setup to do so?
