Sound is lost when restarting Dimension 3100 or after it is left unused for a while. Audio Driver is Sigma Tel High Defuinition Audio Codec It is flagged yellow in Device Manager when it is not working - Disabling and Reenabling gets it going again but that is obviously a pain to have to keep doing. I've read of similar problems on this forum and they talk about reinstalling the Chipset and the the Audio Driver.  I'm OK with reinstalling the Audio Driver but what is the Chipset and how do you reinstall it?
