Virtual Memory Minimum Too Low

I have a Dimension 8250 with Windows XP.  Lately the computer has been slow opening things on the internet and off the internet.  This morning I received an error on the desktop that said:

Virtual memory minimum too low - low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory.  Paging file during this process, memory requests for some applications may be denied.

I don't know where to go to fix this.  Any help would be appreciated.

Click on Start  >  Control Panel  >  Performance and Maintenance  >   Adjust visual effects  >  Advanced  >  Look towards the bottom and click on Change in the Virtual Memory box  >  This is where you can change the size of the V/Memory.

Don't know how much memory you have on your system, but we hope its at least 512 mb if not more.  You would be better off with 1 gb of main memory to run windows xp and the other programs much better.....
