I've got 6000 that I just got not too long ago, well after my HD failed and I loaded the new one that they sent me pre-staged my problems are now starting again. 

 

This time when I type anyplace or anything including this msg, the cursor will be where it should be 1 minute and then the next it's 2, 3 or 5 line up and in the middle of another area.  I'm not even touching the key pad it's just moves where it wants to on it's own.   It's listed under the mouse as a ALPS key pad, but the suggestions in the FAQ's at the top as SOOOOOO outdated (2001) that it does not help as I don't have the same tabs listed.

 

It's to a point I can't use it for work as I would look like a idiot with all the typos

 

Anyone have any ideas before I spend another 5 hours on with tech support......Sad part is I'm a network tech
