Hi,

I am really frustrated right now.  I had a problem with my battery not charging and with the ac adapter plugged in, it would go off every now and again.  So I contact Dell and figured it was probably best to order a new adapter and battery.  Well the good news is that I received my adapter, but I was told that they do not carry my battery any more and I should go to a third party to get a battery.  Fine, so I went Future Shop, they don't carry them in stock and would have to order one, called Battery Plus they want two arms and a leg, checked some Canadian websites and they show them for less than half the price.  But, I don't want to order from somewhere that I don't know and have never heard of.

So now I am stuck with a basically useless laptop, because in order to move it from place to place I have to shut it down and start it back up again.  If I wanted that I would be on my desktop.  So here is my problem, I was thinking of purchasing another laptop from Dell, but hey now, I doubt I will ever purchase another Dell.  I feel like I have been jerked around, by Dell as well as some our useless local computer stores.  When I call them I am told that I am  S - out of Luck, how nice to treat a customer like that.  Sorry won't be recommending them, that was two stores that did that.

So, does anyone know of any Canadian businesses that I can purchase another battery?  Help, Please........P.S. By all means, Dell techs jump in here.  If one more person tells me to contact Dell parts-  I will be typing in all caps, in bold and underscored.
