I recently purchased a Dell Combination Power Adapter so that I could work on the plane and charge while on the road.  Dell lists the DualPower Accessory as an accessory to this power adapter, and it looked like a convenient way to use the laptop and charge my cell phone at the same time.  According to the Dell description of this adapter:

"Designed to work in conjunction with the Dell Combination Power Adapter, the DualPower Accessory allows the simultaneous powering/charging of two electronic devices. It can also be used to power/charge portable electronic devices such as mobile phones, handhelds/PDAs, digital cameras and MP3 players from any standard vehicle power outlet with the included auto charging plug. Delivering uninterrupted power to your portable electronic devices, the DualPower features an integrated 3.5-inch cord."

However, when I received the two devices, it was obvious that this is in fact impossible.  The Dell Combination Power Adapter, when plugged into a laptop, cannot also be plugged into the DualPower Accessory.

Either there's a cable missing, or Dell's description for these devices is false and misleading.

Does anyone else know anything about this?
