Dell XPS 14 having start-up issues

Hey guys,

Am new on the forum but need your help here. I purchased a Dell XPS 14 laptop in Feb 2011. Its a Core i7 processor. I have been using the laptop extensively for the last 2 years. I had previously installed the Windows media player classic on it and was using it to watch movies. After some time my laptop started giving me trouble when while listening to music or movies the song or video would stretch and cause a cracking sound.

I spoke to the dell customer service team and they had the problem fixed for me.

Now the same problem has come back and its even worse. Every time i start my laptop it plays and functions normally for some time and then the sound and music starts stretching again. Folders take time to open and then a blue screen appears and before i can read the contents the system shuts.

I try to start the system again and it prompts me to either start windows normally or use the repair option which is recommended. I use the repair option but after say 7 to 8 seconds the system just shuts again and does not start. I have to wait some time for its to start.

This is a repaeating problem.

I have paid quite a lot for a top end product and am unable to find a solution. Dell customer support says its a driver problem so I re-installed the drivers on 2 occasions.

Need urgent assistance.

Regards
