Hi,

 Is it a normal thing for the keyboards to go out on the laptops often like this?

I have a inspiron 7000 the keyboard was replaced once before in 2002 and its acting up once again ..

The testing of course shows nothing is wrong again like last time..

Right now spacebar isn't working well and keyboard isn't moving smoothly like it should..

Anything else i can test or checkout ?

Also, is it easy to replace one on my own?

What else do you do besides removing and replacing a keyboard?  Any software or hardware to do ?

I found a picture on how to remove it looks not that hard or is it ?

 Do we just shut off computer and unscrew and start taken apart ? What are the steps PLease ?
