Inspiron One 2020 - Solid Amber Power button
Weird issue. The power button stays solid amber. This began directly after upgrading to windows 10
I've tried all the lower level fixes, disconnecting the power cord and holding the power button for 40 seconds etc.
I can coax him out of it if I clear the CMOS once I clear the CMOS most of the time the power light will go white but the machine doesn't boot, eventually the power button goes dark. if you hit it again it turns amber.
About every 10th time the machine will boot and seems to run normally, as soon as you shut it down the issue reoccurs.
I'm suspecting the mobo but is there anything else I should check?

Good day !
If the power button stays at solid amber then the system board cannot start initialization. There may be an issue with the system board, memory, processor or the power supply.
*Hence to confirm the faulty component check the status of the system with a different power adapter .Also confirm if the light on the adapter stays on after its connected to the system .
*If possible remove the system's memory module from the machine and try to turn on the system ,check if you hear any beeps or any diagnostic error message displayed .If you have more than 1 memory module try to turn on the system with 1 memory module at a time .
