Monitor Upgrade
I am curious in what monitor hardware upgrade options I have for a Latitude 520. I has right now a 15 inch XGA LCD. It seems from the Dell website that I do not have any options in purchasing a monitor with better resolution then the one that is fixed to the machine now. Anyone have any experience with this. Thank-you.

Things to consider:
1. LCDs are not standardized - you can't just drop in any LCD of the right size. You'll need a unit used in a D530.
2. Replace the inverter and data cable with the panel. Again, they're not standardized parts.
3. If you have a warranty, any damage incurred in upgrading is not covered by warranty.
