NVidia Control Panel Error

Minor issue but it'll be nice to fix.

When I go to check for updates using the Nvidia control panel it crashes with the following error:

Has anyone had this issue or suggestions to fix it? Reinstall drivers?

NVdia has suggested upgrading to latest drivers but they are beta drivers which is not something I usually like to install. Seems OTT to fix a minor issue when everything else is working.

Suggestions?

    Hi StephenCWLL,

    Please provide the System Model.

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to uninstall the Nvidia driver and click the link mentioned below:

    http://dell.to/XyrgGq

Enter the Service Tag of the computer and choose the Operating System installed on the computer (32-bit or 64-bit). Please update the latest Nvidia driver available.

Please keep me posted with the results.

    Thanks & Regards

I don't see any NVidia drivers though on that download page :(

    My Service tag is 4WBSQS1

According to my computer I have NVidia Driver version 9.18.13.721, 10-16-2012 installed.

    Hi,

I did some digging to see if I could re-install the drivers but alas no. Then I discovered there is a slightly more recent update on NVidia's driver downloads so I've installed them and the update mechanism is now working :)

    Thanks,

    Stephen.
