Power Cord Issues
When I plug my power supply into the back of my laptop I sometimes get an error stating "The AC power adapter type cannot be determined. Your system will operate slower and the battery will not charge. Please connect a Dell 130W AC adapter or higher for best system operation."
What does this mean? I am using the power supply that came with the laptop and have not incurred this issue before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

If the system is under warranty, call Dell. If not, a new adapter is the least expensive thing to try first - if the problem persists, the mainboard needs a jack repair or to be replaced.
