Problems with "U2412M driver?" forum thread

The above thread was moved from the U2412M monitor thread. In doing so the posts have been re-shffuled and now give the impression that all the issues raised have been addressed. This is not the case. The driver has been loaded (is shown in Device Manager) however the Dell Studio still will not show the native resolution of the monitor. I've checked and VGA (the only connector on the laptop that will work with the monitor) should be capable of supporting this resolution. Please confirm how this may be addressed.

...I am posting here as the other thread appear to be locked and I can not post on it....

    Hi Munawar P,

I've installed the video drivers that were suggested after entering my Service Tag details. I then shut down and restarted the computer. No success. I'm not sure if it will help but the report below was able to be generated after the install.

Do you have any other tips?

    Kind regards,

    Mark
