I bought Samsung EVO SSD disk with encryption option to my Vostro 3750 laptop. Samsung's materials says that to enable encryption of disk I need set HDD Password in bios. 

So I did. I set up HDD password and cloned partitions data to the SSD disk. To test if its works I remove back bios password and ... system boot up normally without any password. I suppose that data is not encrypted, but ... 

I switched new SSD disk with old one. After connected new SSD by USB I receive CRC error (?). 

Can anyone tell me what is going on? Is data encrypted or not? How to make it in the correct way?
