Video In?

Can anyone direct me to a good PCMCIA or USB product or something that will give my laptop Video In capablities so that I can record digitally from an analog camera or VCR or something?

    here's something I found, I really have no idea wut these specs mean but it looks relatively inexpensive

    is that how these products usually run or can anyone think of where I can get one cheaper

    no clue on that one...  usually the more expensive products have better hardware encoding so it won't tie up your CPU as much
     
    that said, look around and see what you find ... maybe others will post

    idk much about "hardware encoding" i just kinda want somethin that'll get videos from one place to another without makin em look bad, idc about software, i just wanna do it easily and cheaply
