In the last two or three days whenever I turn my laptop on or wake it up from sleep mode the screen flickers black or white for one second for a time. This only happens for 15 seconds or so but I occasionally get an error message informing me that I have to restart. I have not updated the laptop in the last few days and all my drivers are up to date.

Here's a video of this happening. After 15 seconds or so it either stops itself or restarts the computer. 

I have already disabled panel self-refresh and that did not help.

Just wondering what causes this and if there is a fix for it?
