Dell S2409W

Hi, im using a dell s2409 monitor with my xpsm1530 laptop.

video card nvidia 8600M GT with the latest drivers.

I dont have a photo of the problem, as i dont think the camera would pick it up!

I just have a general question really, and it is this.

I can see the screen 'refreshing,' i.e. lines going down it.

Its not that noticeable and i can only see it when its a dark backgorund,, so i cant see it when its a white screen.

i wonder if any of you can help, because its slightly irritating me now.

thanks

mike

I got similar problem. My screen sometimes flashes when I move the cursor a lot. Someone suggested me to change from DVI to D-SUB. The problem ceased. I am not sure why DVI-D has this problem. I am using PC and ATI HD4850 as my GPU. Does anyone know a better solution, instead of using D-SUB?

    Cheers
