Dell SP2208WFP Webcam having problem

Hello All,

This my first post in this forum. I recently purchased Dell's SP2208WFP monitor with webcam. Everything is working fine except the webcam. I installed the Dell Webcam Software and driver from the Provided CD and rebooted the system after completion of setup but when I rebooted and launched the Dell Webcam Center Software it displays a message -"No supported webcam drivers detected. Please install the webcam drivers using the Dell Resource CD and launch Webcam Center again." I tried everything including reinstalling the software from CD and also downloading the setup from Dell's support site. But nothing works. Also under device manager it is listed as "unkown device". But in windows if I unplug the USB cable either from monitors back or from the back of my system, and reconnect it is recognized and installed and works. But again after a restart it dosent work unless again disconnected and reconnected. Also during the installation of webcam software the setup asked to make sure that the cam is connected and again it could continue only after disconnection and reconnection. I also have a printer, a bluetooth dongle and all work fine on all my systems usb ports. I am running windows XP with SP3. PLease help.
