"No VGA Cable"

So, I just received my Alienware X51 and Dell U2412M monitor. When I plug in the monitor with the DVI cable and turn it on, it says "No VGA Cable, The display will go into Power Save Mode in 5 minutes." I tried to use the VGA cable, but there's no input for that on my PC. What do I do? :emotion-7:

    Alienware X51 DVI out --> DVI to DVI cable --> U2412M DVI in (Note, if your video card has two DVI, test them both)

    Per the U2412M User's Guide page 30:
    * Press the Menu button
    * Go to Input Source
    * Select DVI-D
    * Exit the Menu

    Use the monitor's menu to select the input type and change it to DVI.
