I have notice a strange thing with my new U2713H. Sometimes (like 3 times in a week) it has turned black without a reason. I use the computer and without a notice the U2713H goes black. Problems solves to turn off and On the screen (at least this time). First time it happend the screen locked up and I have to turn out the electricity Cable. Is this something that someone more notice? I have RevA03 manufactor 2012 November. Nvidia Graphic Card 680. Also settings buttomes becomes like a freezing state sometimes (is not a crucial thing but anyway something to notice). The Power lamp still lights so its like a freezing Idle/sleep mode. I also have the latest driver to the graphic card. 320.49 is the driver i use. I use the DP In Contact at monitor.

What operating system? Is that a PCIe x16 video card?
The computer DP (DisplayPort) controls the handshake. The monitor DP is passive. It sounds the operating system is allowing the Nvidia 680 to enter some sort of power save mode. You need to look into the operating system power options setup. If the Nvidia 680 is a PCIe X16, * Open the Control Panel in the Start menu * Open Power Options * Select Change plan settings next to the power plan you want to set * Select Change advanced power settings * Select Change settings that are currently unavailable * Open PCI Express * Set Link State Power Management to Off * Click Apply- OK
I have set my settings Before to higest prestanda and my setting where set to off.
This morning when i started the computer the monitor didnt start up. The lamp was on but nothing happend.
I turned monitor off and on and it started to work. And in this case i have hard to Think that its a Driver problem. I have not have this problem with my previous monitor a LG 27"
