I have a Networker Server job in Networker that runs daily to back up the Networker Server's drives, bootstrap, and index. I'm trying to work out whether I need it or not, as we already back up the Networker server via Avamar.

Are the files that are backed up during bootstrap and index backups special files generated during the backup, or files that already exist on the server and are backed up? i.e. will my Avamar backup pick up the bootstrap and index files during its filesystem backup of the Networker server?

If they are not picked up by Avamar, how do I change my backup job in Networker to only back them up and not back up the entire filesystem? My save set for the job is C:\, D:\ and DISASTER_RECOVERY:\. Does the DISASTER_RECOVERY set contain the bootstrap and index?
