PC 2124 installation questions

Our IT guy is out indefinitely, so I have been stuck with this. I will apologize in advance for my novice questions.

We just bought a PowerEdge 2600 and a PC 2124.

Do i connect our internet connection into the gigabit port, and plug the rest of the computers and server into ports 1-24? Or do I connect the server into port 25, and connect the computers and the internet into 1-24?

    I would recommend connecting the PE2600 to the gigabit port; the internet and remaining workstations into the 10/100 port.  Your internet connection will not be utilizing the gigabit bandwidth, but the 2600 server will probably like the extra bandwidth for file-serving and email serving.
