I've been testing my configuration on the 1184 router, against shields up http://grc.com/default.htm .

At port forwarding section I use the IP adress of the router, for me it is 192.168.0.99, and enables service ALL(DMZ) all ports except 0 gets hidden, port 0 gets closed status. If I clean out all entrys at port forwarding section the ports get closed, using shields up to test. I can in this configuration open specific ports to computers on my side of the router, same functionality as if I would not turn on ALL(DMZ) for the routers address, instead using NONE.

This behaviur is not documented, i've not found it in the documentation. I would like to know why they become hidden when I open up all ports and referring them to the router.

I would also like to know how I hide port 0 if its possible. Can I expect any flaws in this configuration? I believe it to be more secure than have all ports visible but closed, am I wrong?
