Connect using Nortell VPN

I have a Linksys wireless card WPC54G and it connects fine to my wireless router. WHen I install Nortell's VPN to connect to our host at UNH I get a message that says essentially "Eacfilt driver needs to be enabled". It is enabled in my network setup. How do I get around this. I have reinstalled the drivers dor the linksys, Nortell's VPN without success. I also install a US Robotics wireless card with the same problem.

is VPN passthrough enabled on the router?  does it work if you connect directly to your internet connection and don't use the router?

Yes and it works fine for all other pc's. It appears to be an issue with this Dell PC. We had a similar issue with another Dell PC a few weeks ago and I believe it had a Dell Wireless builtin and I believe the fix was a replacement driver for the wireless driver but the user doesn't remember how he solved the problem.
