i bought the laptop from dell just to use as a basic laptop. nothing fancy. but since i have gotten it. ive been having trouble with the internet.  it keeps saying dns server not responding. once in awhile it will let me get to google then it kicks off the internet. says i have full strength signal but no internet. ive been going through sites trying trouble shooting steps that are out there and nothing seems to work. its not an issue with the network because the computer i am on is a dell inspiron and it works fine. didnt have to do anything special to get it to connect. tried rebooting the laptop to the new out of box status. didnt change anything. have reset the modem. checked and re checked the password for the internet. but nothing seems to work.  i hope this is something simple that something just isnt checked but i dont want to have a very expensive paperweight. just trying to get my internet to work.  any help would be appreciated.
