When I try to connect on public wifi I am unable to navigate beyond the browser log in page. I get an icon saying I am connected to the internet, but only locally, and that data is being sent, but I can't move beyond the welcome page of provider. I can still connect in one location where there is no log in type page. This particular location requires a password within the Vista connection dialogue, (WPA2 and AES encryption) and therefore no browser welcome page or web log in. My home ISP on a wired modem is also fine. I had no problems until I uninstalled "browser address error redirector" so this may be the cause, although I performed a system restore to reverse this, to no effect. Using Vostro 1310 and Vista basic. And by the wayDell have ignored my communications despite laptop still being under warranty.
