Greetings,
I have an ethernet question maybe you can be of assistance.
I have just bought the 1501 Dell Inspirion Laptop and when I tried to connect my phone line to it,it would not connect online.So I ordered ATT DSL/Broadband and when I got the DSL/modem it worked fine.But know I have a brand new Linksey Cable/DSL Router that I don't even know what to do with it???What is the meaning of going wireless if I have to keep a cable connected to the modem?I am so very lost???

    It would better help us to understand your problem if you could provide us with model numbers to all these network components that you have?(DSL modem, Linksys router, etc.)
    Do you have a wireless adapter in your Inspiron laptop?
