Wireless Broadband Faster than HPNA/Ethernet?
I am having to change gateway modems so I can connect wirelessly with my new laptop.
The new gateway does NOT support HPNA (home phoneline NICs) which 2 of my other networked desktop Dells have.
I can "bridge" the new gateway modem to the old one and obtain wireless for my laptop, keeping the desktops connected via Ethernet/Phonelines.
OR I have been advised to get a wireless network adapter for 1 desktop and keep other 2 connected via Ethernet in order to use new gateway (for wireless).
Is wireless REALLY faster than Ethernet/Phoneline?
