Internet connection
I received an Optiplex 260 for Christmas. How do I find out if I have the proper hardware/software to setup an internet connection. Does this computer have a moden installed or do I have to get one and install it? I did not receive a user's manual with it.

Hello,
You can find your manual HERE.
Look for a jack on the back that a telephone cord will plug into. If you find one, you have a modem.
Look for a jack that looks like the phone jack but larger. If you find one you have a network connection.
You may find that you have both. :emotion-21:

contact your ISP (internet service provider) they will tell you to plug your PC to your router and bam you have internet via Internet Explorer, blue E on desktop.
