Media center files missing
I tried to play a DVD movie using media center on a Dell Dimension E510. here is the message I got: "Component registration failure: Some file needed to play radio or video are missing or corrupt-media center component registration may have failed." Then media center froze and crashed. How can I fix this?

I did a quick Google for the error message (hint), and found this official Microsoft article (among others) about it.

Thanks for your response. I did reinstall win XP media center after my hard drive failed. I will follow the steps outlined in the Microsoft article.
