Go to SolutionDell optiplex 5070 loosing monitors/projectors
Having an issue with loosing projectors...
teacher emails.. "projector not working." Display properties shows only 2 monitors and no projector.
hdmi epson projectors, displayport dell interactive panels, various other display devices.
rebooting does NOT fix.
redneck solution.. turn off, unplug, press power to discharge power supply.. plug back in, turn back on.. everything works.... (only the power cord.. nothing else)
ideas? all firmware is up to date on the pc. windows 10 distro that came with the units. multiple units are having the issue.

Change system sleep to 960 minutes instead of 20
Change display sleep to 8 hours instead of 20 min
Disable Hibernation forever POWERCFG -H OFF
Set computer sleep to NEVER
Set power profile to high performance
Shut down and discharge power
Reboot
No more calls ever again
