Go to SolutionOptiplex 7060 RAID Utility - Pre-Boot
How can the Rapid Storage Technology pre-boot utility be opened? Ctrl-i doesn't work.
I called Dell support and they were not able to tell me.
At this point I have a bunch of workstations that were ordered with Raid not configured so I have to get into the OS on each just to create an array and then blow away the OS with our image.
Hoping for a more efficient way. Thank you!

Not all sizes of 7060 support RAID.
7060 Micro
Case Sizes
RAID must be Set in BIOS.
The key sequence must be enabled.
- Set the computer to RAID-enabled mode.
- Press < Ctrl >< i > when prompted to enter the Intel RAID Option ROM utility.

So I have RAID on but never get the Ctrl-I prompt. I was able to boot into the OS and configure raid there but still don't get the CTRL-I prompt even with a functional array.
Thoughts?

There are SPECIFIC bios settings that enable or Disable the setting.
This feature is not available in all models. SFF particularly do not have raid because they do not support more than 1 hard drive. Raid 0 must have 2 drives of the same type. There are NOT 2 M2 slots nor are there 2 2X 2.5 inch drive slots.

So maybe this the issue is related to SFF? We're buying them with RAID enabled and two 2.5" disks.
I am still unable to access the RAID utility. I actually have the opposite issue today in that I'm trying to break an array and can't do it from within the windows utility.
Regarding SFF, we've been buying that particular form factor for a very long time and have had RAID but if it's not supported, why is the configuration tool letting us buy them?
Hopefully Dell moderates these forums. I"m growing quite frustrated but understand you're not an employee.

Haven't been able to find any documentation that shows this.
That's very annoying.
Intel has also pulled the F6 mass storage Drivers for older chipsets and versions of RST/IRRT
for 9.6 and 10.1 and 11.3 etc.
They EOL'd them a few days ago.
Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (RAID) for Intel 5 Series Chipset-Based Desktop Boards 10.1.0.1008, will no longer be available after Sept. 13, 2019 and will not be supported with any additional functional, security, or other updates.
Current Chipsets Systems running driver version 15.9.x, 16.0.x, 16.5.x, or 16.7.x should update to the latest version.

Does it support 3T hard drive? Which uefi revision is 7060's BIOS?

Everything past 2012 came with UEFI Class 2.3.1 bios.
Larger than 2TB requires GPT partition and F6 mass storage Drivers.
You cannot point to a zip or exe file. You must extract the contents using 7zip and save this to the root of a USB2 flash drive. There are issues with 1903 and older versions of INTEL RST. Version 17 is recommended.

And nevermind... It's under boot options now. No Crtl-I or Crtl-R
F12 then 'Device Configuration'
