Hello all,

I am trying to troubleshoot an issue I am having with some new 7090 Ultra systems. The issue seems to either be related to USB devices pulling power while the system is in idle state, or Modern Standby not properly handling sleep states.

System in question is:

7090 Ultra - 11th Gen i7-1185G7 @ 3.00 GHz - 32 GB RAM - 512 GB SSD

Out of the box was having no issues. Installed Office, Adobe Reader, and local printer. Ensured all drivers and software updates were installed. System presented no issues for first few days. Came in one morning and keyboard/mouse were unresponsive, power light was off, system was hot to the touch. Long pressed power button and brought it out of whatever state it was in. Powered system back on, fan runs high for a couple minutes and everything works. No issues during the work day. Lock the system at night, came back next day to same state of unresponsiveness.

Looking through Event Viewer System logs I see several USB-USBHUB3 warnings about USB device draining system power when system is idle. Device in question is local printer. Unplug printer from system and let it sit over night. Come back to same issue. This time Even Log shows only Information notifications about varying connected standby states.

Already have a ticket open with Dell Support, but wanted to see if anyone else if having similar problems.
